Adapted from Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson's novel Peter and the Starcatchers, this epitome of fanciful story theatre imagines the adventurous origin of the boy who would never grow up and the pirate who would become his archnemesis.
A raised platform center stage evokes the crows nest of a ship, while a raked deck descending into the pit paints a pretty shoreline. These architectural elements ground the various settings suggested by a myriad of added elements: lanterns, ropes, trunks, stars, sails, drapery, cutlery, and painted drops, just to name a few.
